It is important to be well equipped during your trip, so here are some advices from us to help you be really prepared:

  • If you choose the catamaran as activity, it is important to know about the weather condition. If the climate is not favorable, it is recommended to not sail, or else it can go wrong. However, the provider helped by the skippers and the local sailors perfectly know the sailing season and can avoid all serious incidents;
  • From April to October, it’s the perfect moment for a sailing at the sea. July and August are not preferable because the trade wind blows harder during this period. Finally, November and December is not recommended at all because it’s the rain season in Madagascar;
  • Bring bags instead of briefcases because bags are cumbersome once empty;
  • Don’t forget products against mosquitoes, hiking boots for the hikes, flashlight, small sac for the camera and the papers.
